Job Description
This contract-based role offers a unique opportunity to work hands-on with children and families, providing essential health services directly to their homes.
Travel to Client Homes
Respond to assignments via text, travel to homes, and deliver comprehensive lice treatment services.
Perform Lice Removal
Conduct thorough head checks, perform detailed nitpicking, and ensure complete removal of lice.
Educate and Support
Teach families about lice prevention and maintenance, helping them understand the treatment process.
Product Sales
Offer our high-quality lice treatment products to ensure ongoing protection.
Candidate Requirements
Comfort with Hands-On Work
You should be comfortable with the physical aspects of lice removal.
Strong Interpersonal Skills
Excellent communication is crucial; you'll need to reassure and educate families during stressful situations.
Adaptability
Be prepared to work in diverse home environments, which may include the presence of pets.
Detail-Oriented
Precision in lice removal is critical for success in this role. Each treatment typically lasts around 30 minutes.
Reliability
Must have dependable transportation, a working GPS, and the ability to arrive on time.
Sales Ability
Basic sales skills to promote essential follow-up care products.
Clean Background
A clean criminal record is required; background checks will be performed.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare, hair care, or similar fields is a plus.
Tolerance to pets, as many homes will have animals.
Compensation
$25 per hour plus tips
Our technicians earn $25 per hour plus tips, with the freedom to set their own schedules. This position is contract-based, allowing you to choose how little or much you work based on your availability.
